French | West | Vaughan CEO Rick French has joined the board of directors of Teen Cancer America, a nonprofit launched in 2012 by Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of The Who. FWV also serves as the pro bono public relations agency for the Los Angeles-based organization. TCA brings together physicians and healthcare specialists in the fields of pediatric and adult oncology to develop age-specific programs for teens and young adults with cancer, and help finance new facilities to support them. French also serves on the board of trustees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum in Cleveland and The Buddy Holly Educational Foundation.

Allied Integrated Marketing has named Amy Prenner senior vice president, national publicity. Prenner has run her own company, The Prenner Group, since 2007. She has also worked as a unit publicist for cable and satellite television network EPIX, a publicity consultant for Fremantle Media, and has consulted on Emmy campaigns for several NBC shows, including “The Office”, “Parks and Recreation” and “America’s Got Talent.” In her new post, she will manage publicity efforts for Allied’s film, television, streaming and brand clients, and she will oversee the agency’s national publicity teams in Los Angeles and New York. Allied CEO Clint Kendall said that Prenner “has an incredibly impressive track record of executing impactful campaigns for clients.”

Chicago-based 3rd Coast PR has announced the promotions of Betsi Schumacher, Rachel Johnson, Madeleine Zenz and Mary Kelly. Schumacher has been named executive vice president and managing director, overseeing all elements of the agency and its growth. She previously served as director of client services. Johnson moves into the director of client services position. Before coming to 3rd Coast in 2016 she was a global account manager at Edelman. Zenz has been upped from senior account executive to account manager, and Kelly has been promoted from account executive to senior account executive. In addition to the personnel changes, 3rd Coast has moved to a new space in Co-Optim, a co-working space in Chicago’s West Loop.
