Pandora music streaming service has hired Heidi Anne-Noel as senior manager of communications, based in the company’s New York office. Anne-Noel joins Pandora from Press Here Publicity, where she served as senior publicist. Before coming to Press Here, she was vice president, publicity at EMI Music, where she oversaw campaigns for such recording artists as Katy Perry, Anita Baker and Emeli Sande. She has also worked at music publicity firm Glrlie Action, shepherding publicity projects for Bjork, Marianne Faithfull and Kelly Osbourne, among other artists. In her new post, Anne-Noel will be responsible for Pandora’s music communications strategy as well as its outreach to the music press and music business community.

Lumentus, a digital communications shop, has hired Matt Robson as manager of search marketing strategy. Robson comes to Lumentus from marketing and advertising agency Bausbrand, where he served as SEO manager. He was previously paid search manager at McCann RCW and served as an SEO brand manager for Hearst Magazines, directing strategy for ELLE, Woman's Day, and Car & Driver. At Lumentus, Robson will play an integral role in creating overall digital marketing strategies, SEO analysis, and SEM engagement. “Matt's digital marketing expertise meets what our clients are increasingly seeking," said Laurence Moskowitz, Lumentus managing partner and chief executive.

Africa Communications Media Group of Johannesburg has named Nonye Mpho Omotola as its managing director. Omotola, who was previously director at the agency, takes over from co-founder Mimi Kalinda, who will become CEO. Before coming to ACMG, she was business director, Africa, at Vuma Reputation Management. Omotola started her career in London at Maynard Leigh Associates, and has worked in several leading firms in Europe and in other parts of Africa including Jupiter Drawing Room, FCB Durban and Insight Grey, Lagos, where she was director of strategic planning and new business. Founded five years ago as the first African-owned pan-African and fully integrated communications and public relations firm, ACG began by offering services to clients in the social impact space anad has expanded to servicing multi-nationals across the continent in addition to clients outside Africa with an interest in reaching stakeholders on the continent.
