APCO Worldwide has named Marc Johnson managing director of the agency's New York office.
A 10-year APCO veteran and a member of the firm’s global leadership team, Johnson joined the agency in 2008 as a senior associate in its Washington, D.C. headquarters. He relocated to New York in 2011, where he became a senior director of digital strategy before later being named global co-lead of APCO’s digital practice.
He was previously stationed at marketing and communications agency Mindshare Interactive Campaigns, where he served as associate account director in Washington.
As managing director, Johnson will lead a team of experts in APCO’s New York office. He’ll report to agency president and managing director of operations Evan Kraus.
