LEWIS has appointed Heather Bliss senior VP, Boston. Before joining LEWIS, Bliss served as a VP at InkHouse and and executive VP at PerkettPR. She has more than 20 years of experience running integrated communications campaigns for B2B and B2C clients. Reporting to executive VP, U.S. Stephen Corsi, Bliss will oversee the development and expansion of the company’s presence in New England. Her hire comes as the agency is expanding its presence in the Asia-Pacific region as well as beefing up its executive team. The International Women’s Media Foundation has appointed Charlotte Fox director of communications. Fox joins the IWMF from MSL, where she was a vice president, working with clients focused on issues in public education, health care, media and gender equity. She also directed media training and message development. Before coming to MSL, Fox managed public relations activities at 360JMG and FleishmanHillard in Washington. D.C. In her new role, Fox will further develop and direct IWMF’s internal and external engagement strategies. She will also be a member of the organization’s leadership team. Founded in 1990, IWMF provides programs and grants that help ensure that women journalists worldwide are supported, protected, and recognized for their contributions to the news media at all levels.

Cloudability has hired Jay Wampold as its VP of marketing. Wampold comes to Cloudability from storage systems provider Qumulo, where he was also VP of marketing. He has also held marketing and communications posts at Amazon Web Services, information technology company Chef, and EMC Isilon. At Clouability, Wampold will oversee the company’s new Seattle office, lead the strategy and execution of all its marketing efforts and focus on shaping a new market category around driving continuous cloud spend optimization.
