Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul is coming back to her former post as VP communications at pay TV channel Freeform. Bulochnikov-Paul left Freeform, which is owned by the Disney-ABC Television Group, in February to become director, originals publicity at Netflix. Before her first stint at Freeform, she was vice president, media & talent relations at streaming channel Crackle, which is a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Entertainment. At Freeform, she will be responsible for strategic communication efforts, consumer press campaigns, awards outreach and talent relations. Former 20th Century Fox executive director of communications Erin Moody, who took over from Bulochnikov-Paul when she left Freeform, is now leaving the company.

School Specialty, Inc. has appointed Stacey Rubin as senior vice president of marketing. Rubin comes to School Specialty from Epsilon Agency|Catapult, where she led strategy and integrated marketing programs for Whirlpool, American Express, Kraft Heinz and Office Depot, among others. Before that she served as vice president of marketing for Tribune Media's publishing and interactive divisions. Previously, she was a senior vice president at Havas Chicago and served as senior vice president and management director at FCB Chicago. Ms. Rubin will be responsible for School Specialty's omni-channel marketing, overseeing development of the brand strategy to advance its 21st Century Safe School value proposition. In addition, she will drive the Company's data analytics and digital experience strategy, along with its loyalty and e-commerce platforms across B2B and B2C audiences.

The Information Technology Industry Council has added Jennie Westbrook Courts and Clare Sahin to its public affairs team as vice president of external affairs and manager of state and local affairs. Courts joins ITI from Precision Strategies, where served as principal, working with tech industry clients to advance their strategic communications goals. Before that she was a senior public affairs associate at Subject Matter, and has also been communications director for the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee under Sen. Tom Carper (D-DE). Sahin comes to ITI from Signal Group, where was a senior manager, representing technology companies before Congress, the administration, and industry groups. Before that, she was a manager at McAfee, where she supported multi-year legislative strategies and thought leadership campaigns to improve the modernization and defense of federal networks.
