J Public Relations scooped up Visit North Carolina. JPR will work with Visit NC and Luquire George Andrews, marketing and advertising agency of record for the state, to develop a strategic public relations and media outreach plan to garner media coverage for North Carolina. The agency will focus on promoting the travel experiences available within the state to national and target regional market outlets. Visit NC, LGA and JPR will continue to focus on storytelling with the “Firsts that Last” campaign, which launched earlier this year, highlighting the many opportunities within the state for travelers to experience memorable moments for the first time. JPR will service the Visit NC account from its New York City office.

ASGE

jacobstahl won American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy to execute an integrated campaign to encourage understanding about the relationship between chronic heartburn and esophageal cancer. The campaign will also spotlight advances in testing that enable gastroenterologists to prevent disease from developing. jacobstahl partner Sandra Stahl will lead a multidisciplinary team that includes Chicago-based SFC Group headed by Susan Flinn Cobian. The campaign by ASGE, in cooperation with CDxDiagnostics, will launch in five markets beginning this fall and is anticipated to continue through 2019.

Atkins

Cindy Riccio Communications earned the business of SimplyProtein, a new protein bar acquired by Atkins Nutritionals and Ceramedx, a natural skincare system owned by Earth Science Naturals. CRC will execute public relations, digital marketing, influencer marketing, social media and sampling partnerships for both clients. In addition, the agency will work on a dermatologists awareness program for Ceramedx. Earlier this year, the agency launched The Coconut Collaborative, a plant-based dessert and yogurt brand from the UK, in the United States.
