ICR has hired Sara Bell, a veteran of Porter Novelli, Golin and Edelman, to power the financial firm's tech practice on the west coast.
The 13-year pro has counseled Microsoft, Sprint and Virgin Mobile and scored coverage in Wired, New York Times, Wall Street Journal and "Today."
The New York-based firm also bolstered the transaction, advisory and IR capabilities of the west coast tech group via the addition of managing directors Greg McDowell, Terry Quinn and Michael Bowen.
CEO Tom Ryan said ICR views the build-up of its Silicon Valley operation as critical to ICR's success.
