Administered by the Center for Military Recruitment, Assessment and Veterans Employment, H2H connects retired, transitioning active duty, National Guard and Reserve service members with jobs and apprentice training programs in the construction trades.

Since federal and state authorities regulate the three-to-five year “earn while you learn” apprenticeship programs, participants can use their G.I. Benefits to supplement their incomes.
H2H sponsors include AFL-CIO Investment Trust, Kiewit Construction, Buch Construction, International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Carhartt (workwear), Liquid Plumr, PNC and D.C. Friends of Ireland.
