APCO Worldwide has revamped its leadership team in India. Rahul Sharma has been appointed managing director and senior director Yash Kansal will now serve as deputy managing director. Sharma comes to APCO from the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he was deputy secretary general. Previously, he was president of Rediffusion Communications and served as president of Genesis Burson-Marsteller’s public affairs practice in India and South Asia. Earlier in his career, he was a journalist for a variety of outlets, including The Economic Times, Thomson Reuters, the Hindustan Times and the Khaleej Times. Kansal has been with APCO since 2017. Before that, he was country manager, India/SAARC, for Oshkosh India. He has also held senior roles with the U.S. Embassy, U.S. Department of Commerce, Dalmias, Mott McDonald and Tetra Pak. APCO opened its New Delhi office in 2006.

Comscore has hired Brittany Slattery to serve as global head of marketing. Slattery comes to Comscore from Huge, where she served as VP, global communications. She was previously VP, head of global communications at SapientRazorfish and director, corporate communications at Rosetta. At Comscore, Slattery will be responsible for all aspects of global marketing, leading a team responsible for product marketing, events, marketing operations, regional marketing, and internal and external communications.

TransMedia Group has named Justin Bordeaux VP of communication design. Before coming to TransMedia, Bordeaux was creative director at information technology firm BrightMove. He has also served as VP visual communications at 360Lab, and led creative development projects for large organizations and start-ups in multiple business genres. His experience includes video game development and digital brand development, as well as working with executive leadership teams. In his new post, Bordeaux will be collaborating with TransMedia clients in such areas as environmental policy, art and skincare.

Vacation rental management company Rentl has appointed Richard Thomas VP of sales & marketing. Thomas comes to Rentl from aviation technology company Stellar Labs, where he was VP of marketing. Before that, he launched and directed Philtre Digital, a London-based marketing and communications agency. At Rentl, Thomas will be responsible for activity across marketing, communications, business development and revenue management. He will lead efforts directed at homeowners in key markets who want to rent out their properties, as well as promoting Powered by Rentl, the company’s short-term rental platform targeted at residential real estate agents.
