Marketing, media and advisory firm Acceleration Community of Companies has added David Kingsdale, Scott Floyd and Robert Ogden to its leadership team. Kingsdale will serve as head of acquisitions, Floyd will be head of collaboration and Ogden has been named chief financial officer.
Kingsdale currently serves as chairman of the board of independent trustees of Aspiration.com, a financial services company. He is also a strategic advisor at Mellitus Health and was co-founder of Millennium Dance Media. In his new post he is responsible for identifying acquisition candidates and leading due diligence and negotiations for acquisitions and strategic investments.
Floyd was previously senior vice president of marketing and operations for musician Will.i.am’s tech start-up company, I.AM.PLUS. Before that, he spent 20 years at PMK*BNC, most recently as the company’s chief growth officer. His remit at Acceleration is to develop and lead the collaboration effort between all of ACC’s business units. He has also been working directly with clients in Acceleration Brand Advisory, ACC’s marketing and media consultancy.
Ogden previously ran strategy and corporate development at Madison Wells Media (MWM), a diversified entertainment company, and was an investment professional at Screen Capital International, an investment firm specializing in media and entertainment. At ACC, he oversees finance and acquisitions strategy.
ACC was started up earlier this year by Michael Nyman, formerly co-chairman and co-CEO of PMK*BNC.
