Brewers Association

Banner Public Affairs is representing the Brewers Association—the not-for-profit trade association dedicated to small and independent American brewers—in support of its 2019 legislative initiatives. The agency’s efforts for the organization, which will be led by Banner VP-communications Maggie McClain, will include federal and trade media relations activities as well as brand awareness and event support. Banner has worked with the BA since 2016, helping to steer such legislative developments as the passage of the two-year Craft Beverage Modernization and Tax Reform Act. New York City-based media relations firm Rosen Group will continue to represent the BA on all non-governmental initiatives.

Chop Shop

Champion Management Group has tapped as agency for Original ChopShop and bellagreen restaurant chains. Champion’s scope of work for both brands includes public relations, local restaurant marketing and media buying. The agency recently helped open Original ChopShop’s third Dallas-Fort Worth restaurant and managed local outreach for the opening of bellagreen’s second DFW restaurant. Champion’s other clients in the foodservice space include Fazoli’s, Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh, Main Event Entertainment and Nestle Toll House Café.

Luckybar

5W Public Relations has been named PR agency of record for Luckybar, children’s protein bars that are low in sugar, carbohydrates and sodium and have no fillers, gluten or preservatives. The agency’s work for Luckybar will focus on telling the story of why its founder and CEO Jamie Oberweger created the bars. In addition, 5W will work to raise awareness of the brand with parents. Luckybar joins the existing clients in 5W’s family & parenting practice, which implements integrated campaigns including PR, digital, influencer partnerships and social media.
