The Central Park Conservancy has named Mary Caraccioli as its first-ever chief communications officer. Caraccioli comes to the Conservancy from Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, where she also served as CCO. While at Lincoln Center, Caraccioli led the restructuring of communications and oversaw social media, public relations, editorial, and video functions. She also managed communications strategy for all major projects, initiatives, and artistic programming. Previously, she worked as a reporter, broadcast anchor, and news executive at ABC, CNBC, FOX, Comcast and Al Jazeera America, among others. In her new post, Caraccioli is responsible for the direction and leadership of the Conservancy’s marketing, public relations, and internal communications across all platforms, and messaging for all institutional initiatives, programs, and events.

AMF Media Group has promoted Caitie Nolan to director of PR and content and Michael Clinebell to senior director of strategic initiatives. Nolan has been with AMF since 2016, most recently as PR management supervisor. Before that, she was an account supervisor at MSLGROUP. In her new position, Nolan will oversee the agency’s PR and content team and will serve as the lead for those services across all AMF offices. Clinebell has been with AMF since 2008, most recently serving as senior director of content services. He previous spent a decade as an editor and reporter at such publications as the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal and Reno Gazette-Journal. In his new role, Clinebell will work with clients to identify marketing communications needs and goals.

The Hawthorn Group, an Alexandria-VA-based public affairs firm, has promoted Henry Rubin from director of client services to vice president. Rubin has been with The Hawthorn Group since 2016. Before coming to the firm, he served as a state government affairs fellow at AARP and a health policy analyst at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. “Henry is keenly attuned to rapidly changing trends in the public affairs practice at the federal, state and local levels and will build on that experience for our clients, particularly those in heavily regulated industries," said Hawthorn president and chief operating officer, Suzanne Hammelman.
