CCI—Corporate Communication International at Baruch College/CUNY has named Erica Yakobzon executive director. Yakobzon founded Premier Public Relations in 2015. Before that she served as business communications coordinator for the National Hockey League. She also teaches undergraduate courses in PR, advertising and communications at Baruch and the College of Staten Island. CCI offers information on the best practices and theory of the PR profession to professionals, scholars, and university students through continuing education, professional development, seminars and symposia, traditional publications, electronic and on-line media, briefings and white papers, and traditional university courses.

KARV Communications has brought on Renee Lundholm as a senior advisor. Lundholm is founder and CEO of RL Strategies, a management consulting and event planning firm based in Sarasota, FL. She served as president and CEO of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce in New York City for 17 years, and continues to serve on the SACC NY board of directors, as well as on the board of House of Sweden in Washington, D.C. At KARV, Lundholm’s remit will be to introduce KARV’s capabilities to potential clients in law, telecommunications, real estate, and finance, among other business communities undergoing change.
