FleishmanHillard has promoted Patrick Yu to general manager of its Hong Kong operations. He succeeds Geoff Bilbrough, who has stepped down to return home to New Zealand. Yu, who was previously deputy general manager of FH’s Hong Kong office, will continue to lead the firm’s financial and professional services across Asia Pacific. He started his career with the agency in 2005. Yu is also a guest lecturer at The University of Hong Kong and makes presentations throughout Asia Pacific on financial and fintech communication trends. In his new post, he will report to Rachel Catanach, FleishmanHillard’s senior partner and president of Greater China. To support Yu, Kitty Lee is being promoted to deputy general manager. Lee started her career with FleishmanHillard in 2004 and was promoted to senior vice president in 2015.
Olivier Lefebvre |
FF Paris has promoted Olivier Lefebvre from executive creative director to president and partner. Lefebvre joined FF in 2014. Before coming to the agency, he served as creative director at CLM-BBDO and was a copywriter at DDB Paris. He has worked with such brands as Mercedes France, Tag Heuer Worldwide, Mars Group, Greenpeace and Lipton International. Lefebvre’s promotion is intended to bring the management structure of FF’s Paris bureau in line with its offices in Shanghai, Los Angeles and New York, all of which are run by an executive from the firm’s creative division.

Minneapolis-based broadhead has named Jeff Tresidder senior vice president, executive creative director. Tresidder previously served as group creative director at Martin Williams Advertising and senior art director at Carmichael Lynch Advertising. At broadhead, he will lead the agency’s 25-person creative team and join its leadership team. Broadhead represents such clients as Boehringer Ingelheim, Cargill, The Mosaic Company, and Bridgestone Firestone.
Carter Long |
Hemsworth Communications has promoted Carter Long to director of its travel and tourism practice in Atlanta and has hired Lindsey Wiegmann to lead the travel and tourism practice in Fort Lauderdale. Long was previously an account supervisor at Hemsworth, and before coming to the agency she worked for both The Emory Group and The Zimmerman Agency. Wiegmann joins the firm from Hill + Knowlton, where she was an account director. In addition, Hemsworth has hired Lacey Outten to lead its new Charleston, SC-based food, wine and spirits division, and Rachel Tabacnic as director in its franchising & business services division. Outten comes to the firm from Phase 3 Marketing & Communications, where she served as public relations supervisor. Tabacnic’s previous experience includes over six years at Fish Consulting, most recently as senior account manager.
