Sacred Heart developed the certificate program jointly with SAS, which specializes in analytics, business intelligence and data management. This program will be an option for students earning their master’s degree in digital marketing at Sacred Heart’s Jack Welch College of Business. SAS has already partnered with numerous institutions that offer the SAS Joint Certificate Program in data science, data analytics and other areas as part of its global academic program. Its partnership with Sacred Heart University marks the first time the program will be offered in digital marketing. To receive the certificate, students will complete courses in big data marketing, analysis of consumer decisions and applied topics, and they will submit a capstone project that uses SAS products and real data.
