SW PR SHOP, a Los Angeles lifestyle firm, has rebranded as The Storied Group. Co-founded by President Molly Schoneveld in 2008, the company specializes in lifestyle, celebrity, interior design and luxury hospitality. Schoneveld was a publicist at PMK*BNC and MML PR before starting up the firm. The rebrand is meant to reflect the agency’s breadth of work, renewed dedication, and evolving list of services for clients within the lifestyle and entertainment space. The Storied Group provides services in brand development, media relations, strategic partnerships, social media consulting, and crisis management. Schoneveld has represented figures in the entertainment industry such as Mireille Enos (“The Killing”) and Audrina Patridge (“The Hills”). The Storied Group’s brand experience includes LA Arts District design firm Hammer and Spear, Blinking Owl Distillery and Malibu Lumber Yard.

North 6th Agency has launched a content and strategy group. Led by Lori Ruggiero, the new group is intended to meet the needs for content development and executive media training by the agency’s clients. Its services include ghostwriting, bylined content development, corporate messaging, strategic/crisis comms, marketing/branding strategy, speechwriting and employee comms. The launch follows the addition of new clients Alibaba Cloud, Gartner/L2, Splash and WeWork/Conductor as well as cannabis brands including Harborside, iAnthus Capital and BDS Analytics. The agency, which is entering its 10th year in business, has recently moved into new office space in New York and Toronto, and has opened an office in Boulder, CO that is dedicated to its cannabis group. Marketing Maven CEO Lindsey Carnett will speak at the 2019 International Home + Housewares Show (March 2-3) on “Educating Influencers on Your Tech Product for More Favorable Reviews.” The show features more than 2,200 exhibitors and is located at McCormick Place Exposition Center in downtown Chicago.
