FVAP

The Federal Voting Assistance Program, the federal program that ensures military service members, families and overseas citizens the right to vote, has signed a pact with Marketing for Change Co. to provide absentee voting assistance.

The five-year, $9.7 million contract calls for marketing, education and research services in a bid to raise awareness among Americans living abroad on issues such as voting rights, voter registration and how to request and return absentee ballots.

The work will be carried out in partnership with Alexandria, VA-based agency Fors Marsh Group, with MFC leading creative and outreach efforts while Fors Marsh Group handles research.

FVAP was established by the United States Department of Defense.

Marketing for Change bills itself as a “behavior-change communications agency,” and utilizes social psychology, neuroscience and behavioral economics to develop strategies and campaigns designed to influence human behavior. The full-service firm, which was founded in 2005, maintains offices in Orlando, Philadelphia, Tallahassee and Alexandria, VA.
