Matter Communications has launched Matter Health, a dedicated brand for its healthcare practice. The agency says that Matter Health will draw upon the industry expertise of its dedicated healthcare team, as well as other resources across the agency. Matter Health offers integrated marketing services including public relations, social media, digital marketing and creative services. The practice is led by Ryan Lilly, vice president of Matter’s existing healthcare group. Matter launches the new brand following several additions to its client roster, which include consumer medical device manufacturer Atlantic Therapeutics, medical robotics company Myomo and Level Rx, which creates medical video games that challenge physicians and sharpen their cognitive and analytical skills.

Golin has named Abisola Ajayi, Karina Herrera, Alondra Ibarra and Darryl Langston Jr., all of whom are pursuing degrees in integrated marketing communications, as Spring 2019 Al Golin Fellows. The fellowships are the legacy of a partnership between the late Al Golin, the agency’s founder, and his alma mater, Roosevelt University in Chicago. The agency has also presented the Al Golin Scholarship in Communications at Roosevelt, which has benefited dozens of students from under-represented backgrounds, to Roosevelt student Roberto Rosas. “Through his work with students at Roosevelt and senior executives across a broad set of industries, Al was supporting diversity and practicing inclusion long before it was the trendy thing to do,” said Margenett Moore-Roberts, Golin’s first-ever chief inclusion and diversity officer.
Paragon PR has launched “Counterpoint,” a multimedia platform for capital markets participants to engage with a community of peers in debate and discussion on the challenges and opportunities provided by disruptive technologies. Counterpoint will host and develop a range of content including articles, blogs, videos and podcasts and will be available to industry readers across multiple channels. Peter Farley, a capital markets technology expert with over 30 years of experience in institutional finance, will be the platform’s consulting editor of Counterpoint. Farley most recently served as senior capital markets marketing strategist at Finastra.
