Eric Burgeson, who was chief of staff to former Pennsylvania Congressman Bill Schuster, has landed at Delta Air Lines as managing director of government affairs.
Schuster, who served 16 years in Congress, was chairman of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee when he stepped down in January.
Burgeson served as Schuster's chief of staff for seven years. He was also chief of staff at the Dept. of Energy and worked in the Bush II White House as associate director of cabinet affairs.
Burgeson has PA firm experience from stints at Haley Barbour's BGR Group and The Mercury Group.


Ballard Partners has signed to a represent the US unit of Rheinmetall, Germany’s biggest defense contractor, on Army procurement issues.
