Andrea Mokros, VP-communications & events for the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee from 2015 to 2018, is now at Weber Shandwick as senior VP-corporate & PA in its Minneapolis office.
The Super Bowl work included promoting Minnesota's "Bold North" marketing push.
Earlier, Mokros did a stint in the White House as special assistant to Barack Obama and director of strategic planning for Michelle Obama.
For the First Lady, she handled details for trips to China, Africa and the 2012 Olympics in London. She produced national tours for Obama’s “Let’s Move,” “Joining Forces,” “Reach Higher” and “Let Girls Learn” initiatives and recently was part of the production team for the “Becoming” book tour.
Mokros also worked for Minnesota Democrats Gov. Mark Dayton and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, and did advance work for John Kerry’s presidential bid.
