APCO Worldwide has tabbed Theo Moore to head up its Brussels office. Moore has been deputy managing director of the office for the past two years, advising companies on issues ranging from cybersecurity and competition, to payments and medical devices. Before joining APCO in 2009, Moore worked for Brunswick, The Royal Parks in the UK, Text 100 and Edelman. Claire Boussagol will continue to lead APCO’s operations in Europe in her role as regional president. APCO, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, has operated an office in Brussels since 1995.

Markstein has hired Nina Iorg as senior director. Iorg was previously with Time Inc., where she served as marketing and licensing director, working with brands including Real Simple, Sports Illustrated, Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, PEOPLE, Southern Living and Coastal Living. During this time, she also worked with licensees including Dillard’s, 1-800-Flowers, Bed Bath & Beyond, HSN and Harry & David. She has also served as assistant digital general manager to Southern Living, Coastal Living and Sunset Magazine, and as digital convergence manager at SNI Home Brands, where she directed the creation and promotion of all TV show pages for HGTV.com. In her new post, Iorg will lead Markstein’s digital influence team in its Birmingham and Washington, D.C. offices.

Development Counsellors International has named Rebecca Gehman managing director of talent attraction. Gehman has been with DCI since 2012. Her appointment comes as DCI expands the talent attraction marketing services it offers. In addition to talent attraction research, marketing strategies, branding, websites, digital advertising, social media and media relations programs, the company is adding talent attraction workshops for communities to the mix. “Rebecca is a true thought leader in talent attraction marketing and has her finger on the pulse of best practices,” said DCI president, economic development, Julie Curtin.
