Arik Ben-Zvi, a founder of Glover Park Group, has launched Breakwater Strategy, which will be part of WPP.

From offices in New York and DC, Breakwater will offer crisis management, positioning, thought leadership and public advocacy services.

Ben-Zvi, who served on the advance team of Al Gore’s 2000 campaign before helping to launch GPG in 2001, formed Breakwater with the goal of “once again experimenting with new ways to be a trusted strategic advisor to companies navigating today's ever more chaotic and complex operating environment."

GPG alum Max Gleischman will head the NYC outpost. He served as communications director to Samantha Power during her tenure as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.

“As a WPP firm,” Ben-Zvi wrote on his LinkedIn page, “Breakwater Strategy will be able to partner with my colleagues at GPG and other WPP agencies when appropriate to deliver the full suite of services and solutions to meet client needs.”
