Matt Bourne |
Major League Baseball has promoted Matt Bourne to senior VP of communications, according to Sports Business Daily. Bourne has been with MLB since 2008, most recently serving as vice president, business public relations. Before that, he was vice president, marketing communications for the National Basketball Association. In his new post, Bourne will be responsible for MLB communications across both baseball and non-baseball initiatives. He will continue to report to MLB chief communications officer Pat Courtney.
Sören Erickson |
Minneapolis-based broadhead has brought on Sören Erickson as VP, account director and promoted John Walker from creative director to vice president, creative director. Erickson previously served as marketing manager at Swiss agricultural company Syngenta, integrated marketing communications manager—food ingredients North America at Cargill and director, agriculture and environmental sciences at Padilla Speer Beardsley. At broadhead, he will help lead The Mosaic Company and CHS accounts. Walker has been with broadhead since 2007. He previously ran his own advertising agency.

Zito Partners has added David Allan and Amiee Watts to its team as partners. Allan joins Zito from Ketchum, where he was senior vice president, investor relations, and a senior member of the firm’s financial communications unit in New York. In 2014, he helped Ketchum form its strategic alliance with Zito Partners, “Ketchum Zito Financial,” which provides boutique and special situation counsel and support for clients of both organizations, as well as for new clients. Watts comes to Zito from JConnelly, where she most recently served as vice president, financial. She was the lead on several financial services accounts, including Federated Investors, Aegon Asset Management, FundX Investment Group and Informa Financial Intelligence. “David and Amiee will both play vital roles in expanding Zito Partners’ offerings,” said Zito Partners founder Robert Zito.
