Snap has hired Kenny Mitchell as its first chief marketing officer. Mitchell comes to Snap from McDonald’s, where he was vice president of marketing—brand content and engagement. He previously served as head of consumer engagement at Gatorade and managing director, brand and consumer marketing at NASCAR. Snap has already partnered with Mitchell, featuring him in its 2017 IPO roadshow video, which featured three marketers giving their views of Snapchat as an ad platform. In his new post, which starts in June, Mitchell will lead all consumer and product marketing programs for the company. Snap CEO Evan Spiegel called Mitchell “a natural fit to join our team and lead marketing as we continue driving the positive momentum we have in the business.”

Kglobal has hired Jenny Wang as account director. Wang joins kglobal from Raffetto Herman Strategic Communications, where she most recently served as account supervisor, planning and executing campaigns that included online and traditional media, executive positioning, reputation management and thought leadership. She previously worked for Ketchum’s social marketing practice. Wang will work to assist kglobal’s crisis communications practice and help manage its growing roster of energy-related clients.

Miami-based ANDER & Co has promoted Bryna Winer to senior vice president. Winer has been a vice president at the agency since 2016. In addition to having served as a vice president at Thorp & Company, Winer has been a PR consultant for such companies as legal firm Greenberg Traurig and U.S. Trust/Bank of America. In her new role, she will lead the internal day-to-day management of ANDER & Co’s team, overseeing client services, media relations efforts, crisis management, and integrated marketing initiatives. She will also support the continued growth of the agency by collaborating with firm principals on new business outreach and development. ANDER & Co focuses on serving clients in the real estate, hospitality and professional services sectors.
