Beehive Strategic Communication has promoted Abigail Greenheck group vice president. Greenheck has been with Beehive since 2015, most recently as group director, working with such clients as Beaumont Health and Government Employees Health Association. Prior to joining Beehive, she worked as an account director at Olson (now ICF Next), executing marketing programs for brands in the food and beverage and lifestyle categories for brands like General Mills, PepsiCo, KraftMaid Cabinetry and Royal Canin. In her new role, Greenheck oversees a portfolio of clients within the education and healthcare space. She will continue to set the strategic direction for her clients and manage project teams while participating in Beehive’s business development efforts.

DeVries Global has appointed Christa Lombardi senior vice president, Health + Wellness. Lombardi comes to DeVries from Ketchum, where she most recently served as vice president, group manager, food, health & wellness. She has also been vice president, health at Cohn & Wolfe. In her new position, Lombardi is charged with managing and growing the agency’s North America health + wellness portfolio. She will be based in the New York office and report to Jessica O’Callaghan, North American managing director. “Christa has deep and diverse experience across the sector, which is critical, and also brings a creative, collaborative, client-centric spirit that fits perfectly with the agency’s culture, as well as our ambition for health + wellness,” said O’Callaghan.

Valence Media, parent company of the Billboard-Hollywood Reporter Media Group, has named Emily Spence executive vp, head of communications, a newly created role. Spence most recently ran Decadent PR, a communications practice with clients including Amazon Studios, AT&T Audience Network, BuzzFeed, Meredith Corporation, Microsoft, Warner Bros. Television and NBCUniversal International TV Studios. She was previously vp at USA Network, and has held communications roles at A&E Networks, Viacom, agency FerenComm and Syfy. At Valence, Spence will be responsible for developing and executing all communications strategies for Valence and its companies.
