APCO Worldwide has brought on Steve Earl as managing director, London, effective July 1. Earl joins APCO from Zeno Group, where he is currently managing director of Europe, having founded that agency’s operations in the region in 2012. He oversaw client delivery and business development across multiple European offices, played a leading role in an acquisition and counselled clients on corporate communications, brand engagement and crisis management. Earl was previously managing director and founder of Speed Communications. Claire Boussagol, president of APCO in Europe said that he is “ideally placed to provide counsel and expertise to help clients understand how to succeed in the market during these times of extreme complexity.” He joins APCO as the agency celebrates the 35th anniversary of its founding.

Haven Tower Group has named Larry Roth chairman of the firm’s board of advisors. Roth is managing partner of RLR Strategic Partners, a strategic consultancy and M&A advisory firm affiliated with Berkshire Global Advisors, as well as a member of the board of directors of Clark Capital Management Group and Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. He previously served as CEO of AIG Advisor Group as well as CEO of Cetera Financial Group. In his position at Haven Tower, Mr. Roth will serve as a strategic counselor to the agency’s leadership with respect to its continued growth plans, while also helping to build out and oversee the board of advisors. “Larry’s appointment to our Advisory Board underscores Haven Tower's commitment to driving growth that is thoughtful, long-term and prioritizes exceptional client service above all else,” said Haven Tower president and managing partner Joseph Kuo.

Stein IAS has appointed Ed Davis as vice president of client services in the United States. Davis, who joined the agency in April, was previously group director of international client services at Fifth Ring, and is a past president of the Public Relations Society of America, Houston Chapter. He has led agency teams and campaigns for such clients as HP, GE Healthcare, Sandvik, Baker Hughes and Raytheon Professional Services. In his new role at Stein IAS, Davis will drive the growth of the agency’s San Francisco office as well as lead the US client services team and client engagements. He will split his time across the agency’s offices in the US, reporting to CEO Rob Morrice, and global client services director Craig Duxbury.
Ramiro Prudencio, who did a more than 25 year stint at Burson and its predecessor firms, has joined Brunswick Group as a partner in London.
