Lambert & Co. has named Don Hunt as president. Hunt has been an equity partner in the firm since 2001, also serving as managing director. His responsibilities include firmwide strategic planning and execution, operations leadership, and high-level client counsel and management. Hunt was director of communications for business management and investment firm DP Fox Ventures before coming to Lambert. He has also served as a consultant to such companies as Whirlpool Corporation and the former Upjohn Company (now Pfizer) and a journalist at newspapers including the Chicago Tribune. Lambert founder and CEO said that Hunt “has a proven track record of cultivating leadership and innovation across the firm. He is a strong and insightful leader, and there is no one more deserving or better suited for this position.”

Palace Resorts has promoted Cessie Cerrato to vice president of public relations. Cerrato was previously senior director, public relations. Before coming to Palace Resorts, she was with management consulting firm Newlink Group and the Mexico Tourism Board. At Palace, she has carried out campaigns which have included crisis communications, external communications, media relations, marketing and cross-promotion, journalism, event planning and social media influencer strategies. In her new role, Cessie will lead the Palace Resorts public relations team, overseeing the brand’s global communication strategies.

Konnect Agency has named Carmen Hernandez executive vice president of digital strategy. Hernandez has been the agency's managing director for over three years. She was previously VP marketing communications at digital media company Cupcake Digital. In her new position, she will spearhead the incremental growth of Konnect Agency's digital capabilities, including social media strategies, digital advertising, influencer relations, and content creation. Konnect opened its fourth office in Denver in March, joining existing branches located in Los Angeles, New York, and Austin, TX.

Greenberg Quinlan Rosner has hired Kelsey Suter, who previously worked at the firm from 2012 to 2016, as a vice president. Suter returns to GQR from APCO Worldwide, where she was an associate director. She is currently a Penn Kemble Fellow at the National Endowment for Democracy, a bipartisan international affairs group. At APCO, she was on the agency’s global solutions and public affairs teams, with responsibility for message development, digital strategy, media relations and grassroots outreach. In her new post, she executes PR and strategic communications strategies guided by opinion research.
