Kaplow Communications has promoted Randi Liodice to the role of president. Liodice will continue as chief strategy officer. She came to Kaplow in 2013 and has also served as head of digital strategy and vice president, integrated strategy at the agency. Before coming to Kaplow, Liodice was a senior product manager at Mindepark Interactive Network. She previously worked for Edelman, DeVries Public Relations and Ruder Finn. In her new post, Liodice will oversee the growth and development of the agency’s three key categories: beauty, lifestyle, and health and wellness, as well as retail, business and consumer tech initiatives. “Her extensive background in public relations, content development and digital product management has helped fuel our agency’s relevancy in this evolving communications landscape,” said Kaplow founder and CEO Liz Kaplow,

The University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications has named Laurent Burman consulting executive director of The Agency, the College’s strategic communication agency staffed by students under the guidance of a team of professionals and faculty. Burman is co-founder of BlueHive, a digital marketing and ecommerce advisory and service provider based in Seattle. He was previously global chief client officer and chief growth officer for WPP’s digital agency Possible. In his new post, Burman will drive the vision, strategy, service offering, business development and partnership activities of The Agency. He will also pursue corporate partnerships to drive growth and sustainable revenue, expand the reputation of UFCJC among industry professionals, and create opportunities for students to learn and grow in an inclusive environment.

Stallings joins Story Partners from Atlantic Media, where he served as a senior communications manager, crafting external messaging and securing news coverage for several media brands including The Atlantic, National Journal and Government Executive.
