Berk Communications, unit of MWWPR, has brought on Matthew Frappier as VP. Frappier joins Berk from DKC, where he was a senior VP, leading media outreach for Delta Airlines, BMW and Moet Hennessy. Before that, he was VP at Edelman, and he has also worked at Harrison & Shriftman, Zeno Group and Magrino. In his new position, he will lead media strategy and relations across consumer lifestyle and spirits accounts at Berk. Berk's client roster includes PUMA, Roc Nation Sports, BODYARMOR and The Cheesecake Factory as as well as a group of talent including Alex Rodriguez, Meek Mill, Michael Rubin and Robinson Canó.

Brinks Home Security has named Chris X. Moloney chief marketing officer and senior VP of e-commerce. Moloney comes to Brinks from TaxSlayer, where he served as chief marketing officer and head of strategic partnerships. He has also been chief marketing officer at Experian, Wells Fargo Advisors and Scottrade. Moloney is co-president of The CMO Club, a global membership organization with over 800 active heads of marketing. At Brinks, he will focus on building and expanding the brand in support of its Authorized Dealers network. He will also work to evolve its e-commerce platform. Brinks Home Security provides security system services for approximately one million residential customers and commercial client accounts.

Showtime has named Michael Engleman chief marketing officer, according to a report in Deadline. Engelman was previously at Turner, where he was chief marketing officer for TBS and TNT, as well as working to launch a new content marketing group at the company. Before coming to Turner, he was EVP of marketing, digital and global brand strategy for Syfy and Chiller. In his new post, Engleman will oversee Showime’s marketing, creative advertising and digital media divisions, including consumer and distribution marketing, promotions and media. His other duties will include managing the day-to-day operations of digital platform marketing, broadband, mobile, emerging platform initiatives and multiplatform content. He will also have marketing oversight of Pop TV and Smithsonian Channel.




Actum has hired Cecelia Prewett, who was president of DC Public Affairs at SKDK during a nearly 13-year run, as senior managing director in its Washington office.
