Lisa Rabbe, who spent more than 18 years at Goldman Sachs and exited as head of government affairs for Europe, Middle East and Africa, has joined Moody's as chief government & PA officer.
She oversees the credit ratings/research firm's global engagement with regulators, policymakers and other external groups.
Rabbe, who was running Stratosphere Advisors, financial/data consulting shop, left Goldman in 2010 for Credit Suisse, where she served as MENA public policy chief.
She has a broad background in financial technology and regulation within the global banking, secruities, antitrust and data privacy sectors.
Raymond McDaniel, CEO of Moody's, praised Rabbe's "deep experience and insight into the evolving global regulatory system."
He's confident she will enrich Moody's perspective and further its dialog with policymakers and key stakeholders.
Moody's generated $4.4B in 2018 revenues. It employs about 13,200 people in 42 countries.
