Andrew Moyer has come on board at Reputation Partners as executive VP and general manager of its Chicago office.

Moyer joins the agency from Edelman, where he was a senior vice president in crisis and risk management and public affairs lead for its Chicago office. Before that, he was chief of staff for the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, managing and coordinating key activities and communication across the department.

He also worked for Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle, who was in office from 2003 to 2011, in a variety of roles including special assistant to the governor, legislative liaison and representing the state in Washington DC.

In addition to managing Reputation Partners’ Chicago office, Moyer’s new role will entail leading and serving as a member of the firm’s senior leadership team.

RP president and founder Nick Kalm said that Moyer’s “experience in crisis communications, public affairs, organizational communications and team leadership make him ideally suited to help propel Reputation Partners towards future growth.”
