Big Path

BackBay Communications has been chosen as the PR agency of record for Big Path Capital, which specializes in impact investing—investments made with an eye toward generating a measurable, beneficial social or environmental impact alongside a financial return. BackBay will work to raise awareness of Big Path’s impact investing events and its work with companies, funds, and investors. “We are proud to team up to take mission-driven investing from the margins to the mainstream,” said Big Path co-founder and managing partner Michael Whelchel. Impact clients that BackBay has worked with include Athena Capital Advisors, a pioneer in socially responsible and gender-lens investing, and Economist Events, for which BackBay provided support for this year’s Climate Risk Summit in London and Investing for Impact Conference in New York.
