Prosek Partners has hired Fiona Laffan as managing director of its new London office. Laffan joins Prosek from Lloyds Banking Group, where she was group corporate communications director. She previously served as managing director, head of corporate communications EMEA at Goldman Sachs and was a partner at Brunswick Group. “Fiona is a world class financial communications specialist and strategist and her experience adds to the deep bench of talent we have built in London,” said Prosek managing partner Jennifer Prosek. The firm opened its EMEA headquarters in London in July.
Elizabeth Micci |
Finsbury has brought on Elizabeth Micci as a partner in its New York office. Micci was previously a managing director and head of the New York office at Glover Park Group, which has a strategic partnership with Finsbury. She has also been a managing director at Abernathy MacGregor, and began her career at Robinson, Lerer & Montgomery, Finsbury’s predecessor firm in the United States. In her new post, Micci will provide corporate, crisis management, and financial and transaction communications counsel to clients in a range of industries.
Brendan Monahan |
InkHouse has brought on Brendan Monahan as vice president healthcare. Monahan comes to Inkhouse from Rasky Partners, where he served as associate vice president, healthcare. He was previously manager of media relations at Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and has led media and public relations for regional health system Bayside Health. He also worked as an anchor and investigative reporter at WGGB-TV in Springfield, MA. In his new post, Monahan will serve as strategic practice lead in market segments including health IT developers, hospital systems, insurers, medical device manufacturers and life science organizations.

Global entertainment platform Fandom has appointed Stephanie Fried chief marketing officer. Fried comes to Fandom from Condé Nast, where she was EVP marketing, research & analytics across a portfolio of brands including WIRED, Vanity Fair and The New Yorker. She was previously vice president, digital insights and marketing at Discover Communications and vice president, research insights and analytics at VEVO. At Fandom, Fried will lead the company’s brand vision, including consumer and sales marketing, research, events and communications. She will work to create stronger connections with Fandom’s audiences across platforms.
