PR World Alliance has added Boston-based Denterlein and Sao Paulo, Brazil-based XCOM as member firms. Denterlein, led by founder and CEO Geri Denterlein, provides comprehensive communications strategies for companies in the healthcare, education, life sciences, financial services, professional services, real estate, non-profit, transportation and arts/culture sector. XCOM, led by agency partners Viviana Toletti and Daniel Bruin, is the first member of the alliance in South America. It provides public relations, digital content and social media, influencer strategy, internal communications and communication training to business in such areas as consumer goods, healthcare, education, fintech and technology.

Duarte Inc., a Silicon Valley based, woman-owned firm, has expanded to the east coast with the opening of an office in Brooklyn, NY. Creative director Dan Durller led the expansion and co-leads the Brooklyn-based team alongside client service director Tom Baran. The agency says the new office will allow it to better serve Fortune 500 and emerging companies based in the East and Midwest, while also giving it access to the creative talent available in the New York area. Duarte has been led since 1988 by Nancy Duarte and has worked with such clients as Apple, Cisco, GE and Google.
