Avisa Partners has named Eric Bovim CEO of its US operations, leading Avisa Partners US from Washington, D.C. Bovim comes to Avisa from Signal Group, where he was managing director. He previously founded and served as CEO at Gibraltar Associates, and was VP, client services at DCI Group. Bovim has also been a foreign correspondent for both Reuters and Dow Jones Newswires, and was communications director for US Senator Conrad Burns (R-MT). In his new post, he will oversee the expansion of Avisa’s presence in the US market, which already accounts for 15 to 25 percent of the group’s revenue. The opening of Avisa’s US office, which joins offices in Paris, London, Brussels and Berlin, has raised its headcount to over 100 consultants.

The Phoenix Suns have named Dean Stoyer chief marketing and communications officer. Stoyer most recently served as vice president of global brand communications for Under Armour. He has also been global communications senior director at Nike and marketing director as ESPN X Games. In his new post, Stoyer will lead the development of marketing strategies and brand communications for the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury across all platforms. He will report to Suns President and CEO Jason Rowley.

Hall+Co. has named Ashlee Dubreuil vice president, Luxury Brands and Ivan Liu vice president, business development. Dubreuil previously founded and served as CEO of Eslight Worldwide, an import/export business that specialized in commercial and industrial lighting products. In her new post, she will oversee initial contact and relationship management with potential clients. Liu, in addition to having worked as a management consultant, was president of MyHometurf. His role will be focused on driving new business for the agency.
