Former Staten Island/Brooklyn Congresswoman Susan Molinari has joined APCO Worldwide’s international advisory council.

Most recently, Molinari did a seven-year stint at Google as VP-public policy for the Americas, where she handled issues such as data privacy, cybersecurity, government regulation, sustainability and inclusion.

Mark Isakowitz, chief of staff to Ohio Republican Senator Rob Portman, replaced Molinari at Google last month.

The Republican politico, whose father served as borough president of Staten Island, served in Congress from 1990 to 1997. After leaving the House, Molinari worked as president of Ketchum PA and president/CEO of the Washington Group.

Margery Kraus, APCO founder/executive chairman, said Molinari “will provide invaluable high-level insight for APCO clients.”
