Craig Berman, who was VP-global communications at Amazon, has joined AI-powered conversational platform LivePerson, Inc. as senior vice president, global communications.
At Amazon, where he worked from 2004 until 2018, Berman most recently led PRfor Amazon Entertainment. He previously advised Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos on corporate and crisis communications, led consumer PR for Amazon’s retail business — including the launches of the Kindle, Fire, and Alexa products — and oversaw communications for Amazon’s fulfillment network.
Before coming to Amazon, Berman was a senior vice president at MWWPR. He has also run and advised congressional and legislative campaigns. Berman began his career working for John Kasich when he represented Michigan’s 12th District in the House of Representatives.
At Live Person, he will lead the company’s internal and external communications strategy.

Laura Anderson, who rose to VP/GM of global communications and events in a nearly 20 year stint at Intel, will take on the Americas technology chair at Burson following the completion of the BCW and H+K merger on July 1.
