ABC Entertainment has named Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul senior VP-communications, succeeding Jori Arancio, who resigned earlier this week after 21 years with Disney, ABC’s owner.
Bulochnikov-Paul moves form VP, media relations at Disney ABC cable channel Freeform, where she oversaw strategic communications efforts, program publicity and talent relations.
She had left for Netflix as director of original series publicity, but returned to Freeform in her previous post last October.
Before first coming to Freeform, Bulochnikov-Paul held executive positions at Crackle, Current TV, and Al Jazeera America. She also served as head of publicity for Wikked Entertainment, director of publicity for Ish Entertainment and senior publicist at VH1.
In her new positon, she will be responsible for all strategic corporate communications efforts, consumer press campaigns and awards outreach for the network
Bulochnikov-Paul will report to ABC Entertainment and Disney Television Studios president of marketing Shannon Ryan.
