ICR has brought on Steve Parish and Lee Stettner as managing directors, focused on capital markets advisory. Parish and Stettner will also serve as co-heads of capital markets for ICR’s broker-dealer affiliate, ICR Capital. Parish joins ICR from Solebury Capital, where he was a managing director, advising issuers and financial sponsors on a broad range of transactions. He has also served as senior managing director at Bear Stearns and managing director at Cantor Fitzgerald. Stettner also comes to ICR from a managing director position at Solebury Capital. He was previously managing director in equity capital markets for J.P. Morgan. Previously, he served as a senior managing director and global head of equity capital markets at Bear Stearns and a managing director at Deutsche Bank. Parish and Stetter will both report to firm CEO Tom Ryan, and president Don Duffy.
Steve Halsey |
G&S Business Communications has appointed Steve Halsey chief growth officer, a newly created position. Halsey has been with G&S for over 21 years, most recently as managing director of the firm’s business consulting practice. He spearheaded the development of the agency’s proprietary messaging and brand strategy services, IPower and COMMPASS, and helped lead the creation and build-out of the agency’s digital, social and insights teams. Halsey was recently elected to the operating committee of Page Society’s Page Up organization. In his new post, he has overall responsibility for the sales, marketing, innovation and service development functions of G&S as well as supporting corporate strategy. G&S has also named Katy Hendricks vice president of growth and corporate communications, and Chris Martin vice president of creative and brand experience.
Kelly Schlageter |
CNSI, a Rockville, MD-based provider of health information technology solutions, has hired Kelly Schlageter as senior vice president, chief marketing and communications officer. Schlageter was previously communications director at the Inova Center for Personalized Health. Before joining Inova, she was senior manager corporate communications at Sprint. In her new role, she will head up CNSI’s communications, marketing, and branding. CNSI chief executive officer Todd Stottlemyer said that Schlageter's “experience with both technology and healthcare organizations—at the intersection of today's disruption and innovation—makes Kelly a great fit to lead strategic marketing and communications efforts at CNSI.”

R&J Strategic Communications has promoted Kaila Starita to digital account coordinator. In her new role at the agency, Kaila will help develop and execute digital marketing strategies and assist in servicing client accounts. Her social initiatives will tap into various industry disciplines, including B2B, non-profit, commercial real estate, and consumer goods for large and mid-sized businesses.
