Brunswick Group has named Pascal Lamy, former CEO of Credit Lyonnais, chief of staff to Jacques Delors during his time as European Commission president and director-general of the World Trade Organization, chair of its European operation. He will be based in Brussels.

He’ll counsel clients on international economics, trade, politics and regulation.

Neal Wolin, Brunswick CEO, called Lamy an “enormously experienced and talented global leader with deep knowledge and insights” that will be of great value to the firm’s clients in Europe and beyond.

Lamy joined Brunswick last year as part of the launch of its geopolitical offering.
