Dynamo’s team, concentrated in London but with staff in San Francisco, will be absorbed into Clarity’s offices. Clarity UK managing director Rachel Gilley will lead the UK business, with Dynamo co-founders Paul Cockerton and Peter Bowles moving into global roles: chief product officer and chief creative officer respectively. The deal follows November’s investment in Clarity by The Brewery, the independent network of companies linked to communications agency freuds.

Israel's Propel has launched a media database of what it says is a million journalists and influencers, as part of its public relations management platform. The new tool will let users write a pitch in Gmail or Outlook, generate a media list of relevant contacts, and send personalized emails to each recipient without having to leave their email screen. The company says the offering will provide such data as influencers’ historical pitch engagement by topic, optimal days/times to pitch and effectiveness tips. Headquartered in Tel Aviv, Propel was founded by Cutler PR founder Zach Cutler and engineer David Cohen. Cutler PR was acquired by Kite Hill PR in January 2018.
