Former Florida Congressman Jeff Miller has joined Omnicom’s Mercury PA unit as co-chairman.
Republican Miller spent 15 years in Congress, where he chaired the House veteran’s affairs committee and served on the intelligence and armed services committees.
He succeeded Joe Scarborough, now co-host of “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, to represent the Sunshine State’s 1st district, one of the Republican districts in the South.
Prior to his Washington service, Miller was in the Florida House from 1998 to 2001 and chair of its utilities & telecommunications committee.
He joins Mercury from the senior legislative advisor slot at McDermott Will & Emery, where he counseled clients on veterans affairs, healthcare and defense matters.
Miller will work out of Mercury’s Tampa and DC offices.
