Carolyn Izzo Integrated Communications is partnering with Palladium Hotel Group, the seventh-largest hotel chain in Spain. CIIC will lead PR efforts for Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts and TRS Hotels brands located in Mexico and the Caribbean. The chain has 50 hotels and more than 14,000 rooms in six countries: Spain, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Italy and Brazil. Its 10 brands include TRS Hotels, Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts, Palladium Hotels, Palladium Boutique Hotels, Fiesta Hotels & Resorts, Ushuaïa Unexpected Hotels, Bless Collection Hotels, Ayre Hoteles and Only YOU Hotels, as well as licensed brand Hard Rock Hotels in Ibiza and Tenerif.


Imagine PR has been appointed PR representative for Tswalu Kalahari in South Africa and Fregate Island Private in the Seychelles. Imagine will develop comprehensive public relations strategies for both clients, employing traditional media, influencer marketing and brand partnerships. In August 2019, Tswalu Kalahari reopened its main camp, The Motse, following an extensive five-month renovation project which saw the redesign of the suites, or legaes, and the communal living areas. A world-class conservation initiative, Tswalu integrates research into every part of the experience. Fregate Island Private has 16 villas, which are being completely redone in 2021. Fregate Island Private is also a conservation sanctuary fully dedicated to sustainability.


Beach House PR has added Velour Beauty to its agency roster. Beach House will handle Velour Beauty’s public relations and influencer marketing efforts for the company. The brand produces a line of “faux lashes for real life” that it says use natural, lightweight, long-lasting and ethically-sourced material and can be worn an average of more than 20 times—as opposed to single-use, disposable lashes.
