Brian Communications has brought on Bill Marimow and David Demarest as senior advisors.

Marimow is a two-time Pulitzer Prize recipient and former editor-in-chief of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

During his time as publisher of the Inquirer, Brian Communications CEO Brian Tierney recruited Marimow from the editor-in-chief post at the Baltimore Sun to run the paper.

Marimow, who also was VP-news at National Public Radio, was most recently VP-strategic development at the Inquirer.

David Demarest
David Demarest

Demarest, who served as White House communications director under president George H.W. Bush, was most recently VP for public affairs at Stanford University.

He has also served in EVP roles at Bank of America and Visa International.
