SHIFT Communications has named Annie Perkins managing director – East, leading client teams and operations in Boston and New York. Perkins was previously senior vice president — consumer and healthcare at the firm. Before coming to Shift in 2011, she worked at PAN Communications and Hearthstone Realty Corporation. In her new post, her focus will be on deepening client relationships by cultivating cross-network collaborations and creative integrations. SHIFT has also promoted human resources manager Kara Armit to chief of staff and named Sarah Babbitt transitions to vice president, marketing.

Heart+Mind Strategies has named Mike Dabadie CEO of the company. Dabadie, a founding partner of Heart+Mind, had previously been serving as co-CEO with Dr. Dee Allsop, who will be on 18-month sabbatical, returning in early 2022. Dabadie will work closely with Mark Wirthlin, who continues to head the company's executive leadership as president/COO, as well as with the rest of his leadership team. Before helping to startup Heart+Mind, Dabadie was managing director, North America at London-based consulting firm Promise Corporation. He has also served as president, brand & strategy at Harris Interactive.
