Regan Communications Group has launched Regan Digital Studio, which provides services that include programmatic marketing, social advertising, content marketing, inbound marketing, search engine optimization, and website and mobile app development. Headquartered in Boston, the new division is led by David Jensen, owner of boutique digital marketing agency So Big Marketing, who joins as president. Regan Digital Studio works through Regan’s existing agency offices in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Florida. “The need for digital marketing solutions is booming and the time is right for us to make a greater investment there,” said Regan Communications Group chairman George K. Regan.

Witt O’Brien’s, which specializes in crisis and emergency management for governments and corporations, has acquired maritime crisis and corporate communications agencies Navigate PR Ltd, Navigate Response Ltd, Navigate Response Asia Pte Ltd and Helix Media Pte Ltd. (together known as “Navigate”). Based in London and Singapore, Navigate supports the owners and managers of more than 4,000 vessels across several asset classes. It also supports leading maritime organizations with a wide range of corporate communications services. Navigate’s founders Mike Elsom and Bill Lines in London and Ed Ion in Singapore will continue in leadership roles, reporting to Witt O’Brien’s managing director Sean Fitzgerald. Witt O’Brien’s is a subsidiary of SEACOR Holdings Inc.

5W Public Relations has launched a specialty practice devoted to clients in the streaming space. Part of the firm’s technology division, the practice will focus on communicating complex technological innovations for clients in the industries of connected TV and over-the-top TV. It will offer services that include IPO media strategy, new market expansion campaigns, visibility programs, content creation, digital media campaigns, event planning, thought leadership and speaking opportunities. The Association of National Advertisers projects that the number of households with CTV technology will jump 82 percent by 2023.

Powerhouse Communications president and chief storyteller Kristin Daher has been elected to the California Restaurant Association Foundation’s board of directors. CRAF is a non-profit that invests in and empowers California's restaurant workforce. Daher will utilize Powerhouse’s resources to bring awareness to the such CRAF programs as Restaurants Care, which provides emergency assistance to restaurant workers who have experienced sudden tragedies and hardships, and ProStart, which provides introductory culinary arts training and hospitality career-exploration programs for high school students.
