Dana McClintock, a 27-year veteran of CBS Communications, is departing his executive VP post June 30 with the completion of the ViacomCBS merger.

ViacomCBS announced Feb. 28 that Justin Dini, who was executive VP-corporate communications will take over communications unit and serve as chief spokesperson.

The Brunswick Group alum had represented National Amusements, which is ViacomCBS parent company, before joining Viacom.

McClintock, 48, started his CBS career as a press representative for David Letterman.

He went on to handle PR for CBS Olympics coverage and took the executive VP-chief communications officer post in 2018 following the ouster of CBS CEO Les Mooves.
