Sloane & Company has promoted Dan Zacchei to president, special situations and Joe Germani to managing director, special situations. Zacchei, who has been with the firm since 2008, was previously a managing director, leading Sloane’s advisory work in the areas of shareholder activism, mergers and acquisitions, executive transitions, bankruptcies and restructurings and crisis management. In his new role, he will add the oversight of new strategic initiatives to his duties. Germani was previously a senior vice president at Sloane, working with clients in such areas as shareholder activism, transaction and crisis mandates.

42West co-CEO Leslee Dart is set to take on a newly created senior strategic advisor role at Dolphin Entertainment, according to a report on deadline.com. Dolphin acquired 42West in 2017. Amanda Lundberg will now become sole CEO of 42West, and will run the agency from its New York headquarters. Dart will continue to work with 42West in her new capacity with the company. 42West grew out of The Dart Group, which Dart founded in 2004 after spending over 20 years at PMK. Lundberg, who was previously executive vice president for worldwide public relations at Miramax, joined The Dart Group in 2005. The Deadline report says that Dolphin plans to make more acquisitions this year, and that Dart is expected to take on a supervisory role in integrated the new acquisitions into the company.

San Francisco-based Demonstrate has appointed Tennyson Wilson to the newly created position of head of media services. Wilson will also be a partner in the firm. Wilson joins Demonstrate from mcgarrybowen, where he served as managing director of its media services division. He previously served as group managing director, innovation at Swirl and media director at Mekanism. In his new position, Wilson will lead paid media strategy and work to expand the agency’s capabilities. “Tennyson’s business acumen and breadth of experience in integrated brand communications planning across multifarious verticals in both mid-size and large agencies, make him the perfect partner for Demonstrate,” said agency founder and CEO Joey Hodges.

Grey Group has promoted Huma Qureshi to chief communications officer for Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa. Qureshi was previously regional PR and corporate communications director for AMEA at the firm. Before joining in Grey in 2014, she was PR and events management director at luxury furniture brand Roche Bobois. In her new role, Qureshi will be tasked with further strengthening Grey’s presence and building on the agency’s global reputation.
