Evoke KYNE has named Julie O’Donnell executive VP, global head of digital. O’Donnell was previously global digital strategist at the agency. Before coming to Evoke KYNE, she was a senior director at the multinational pharmaceutical company Lundbeck. Based in Dublin, O’Donnell will lead the global digital team, with a focus on cross-channel strategy, social media, insights and analytics, as well as partnering with geographic and account leaders to enhance Evoke KYNE’s offerings. “She has played a pivotal role in growing our digital offering and deploying resources across the business to ensure we are developing innovative programming,” said Evoke KYNE chief executive officer David Kyne.

Padilla has promoted Dave Heinsch to senior VP and co-lead of the firm’s corporate advisory group. Heinsch has been with Padilla since 2000, previously serving as vice president in the corporate and investor relations practice. He co-leads the firm’s evolved corporate offerings with executive vice president Brian Ellis. The agency has also promoted Rosalie Morton to the newly created position of vice president, channels. She was previously senior director of Padilla’s social media and digital group. In addition to leading the agency’s social media strategy, Morton will now oversee the agency’s media relations team and help expand the firm’s paid digital offerings, as well as the firm’s Connection Strategy initiative.

Mass Luminosity of Dallas has named Julie Curtis chief marketing officer. Curtis was previously president of Fort Worth, TX-based research, technology and experiential company Wheelhouse Marketing and PR, which she co-founded in 2011. ML acquired Wheelhouse last May, whereupon that company became an internal marketing arm of Mass Luminosity and its subsidiaries. Wheelhouse had originally been Mass Luminosity’s agency of record as well as an investor. Earlier in her career Curtis was corporate partnerships director at live music company AEG Live and a strategic partnerships director at Performing Arts Fort Worth.

Schwartz Media Strategies has promoted Yudi Fernández to partner. Fernández, who joined the Miami-based firm in 2011, has most recently served as executive vice president. She previously worked in editorial positions at several South Florida newspapers. At Schwartz, Fernández leads multilingual media relations, marketing and social media campaigns on behalf of clients across the firm’s core practices, with an emphasis on commercial real estate, construction, financial services and municipal affairs. As a partner, she will take on an expanded role focused on business development, firm marketing and mentorship. She becomes the firm’s first woman and first Hispanic partner, joining Tadd Schwartz and Aaron Gordon as part of its ownership team.
