Hill+Knowlton Strategies has appointed Abhishek Gulyani as chief executive officer to lead its operations throughout India. Gulyani previously ran his own agency, Facio Communications, and has worked as senior counsel at agencies including Avian ME and Genesis BM. He has led teams working with such global brands and businesses as Mastercard, Aviva, Reebok and Deloitte. Gulyani will manage H+K’s offices in Bengaluru, Gurgaon and Mumbai. He will focus on strategic counsel for clients while building H+K India’s client base and introducing new offerings from the global network.

Development Counsellors International has promoted Daniella Middleton to senior vice president of its tourism practice. Middleton has been with DCI since 2015, most recently serving as vice president, travel marketing and strategy. Before coming to the agency, she was director, North America at Dubai Tourism. In her new role, Middleton will be tasked with unifying the five divisions of DCI’s tourism practice—research, public relations, digital marketing, travel trade marketing and business events. She will also work to advance the agency’s digital offerings, formalizing strategic partnership initiatives that help to advance the goals of its destination clients.

American Homes 4 Rent, a provider of single-family homes for rent, has named Megan Grabos senior vice president of communications, a newly created position. Grabos joins American Homes 4 Rent from Delta Dental of California, where she was vice president of communications. She has also served as head of communications for Cars.com and vice president of reputation management at Edelman. In her new role, she will oversee corporate and executive communications, media relations, employee communications, crisis and issues management, financial communications and public affairs.
